Why do I need your service?A single negative item or inaccurate information on your credit reports can lower your credit FICO score with all three major credit bureaus. Low FICO scores can affect your chances to obtain lower interest rates for home mortgages and auto loans. It also will increase your auto insurance rates and affect your ability to obtain employment. Mercedes Enterprises has been very successful in the past with removing negative credit items. Although you can attempt to do this yourself, many individuals have found that it becomes very frustrating and time consuming when they do not achieve the results that we can provide. The fact is that the credit bureaus may choose to ignore your attempts or choose not to reinvestigate the negative items at all. How do I know my personal information is safe?Any personal information that you submit to Mercedes Enterprises INC Is protected and secure to highest industry standard requirements. Not only are we ethically and morally bound but our license requires it. We will not disclose, resell or compromise your personal data. Not ever. How often should I expect to get mail from the credit bureaus? You will receive updated credit reports about every two-three weeks until your account is completed. As items are disputed the bureaus will forward correspondence directly to you regarding the progress on the disputes. When I receive my credit reports/correspondence what should I do with them?Send the original reports to Mercedes Enterprises INC and make copies to be kept for your records.
All correspondence must be mailed to the following address in a new envelope: All Reports and Updates must be placed into a new envelope and mailed within five days of receipt. Do not write on the original envelope or forward by placing our address over your address. Please keep individual credit bureau reports in their original individual envelopes so they are not mixed together. We also recommend mailing your reports via U.S. Postal Priority Mail with delivery conformation. (Failure to do so will void our guarantee). Where do I get my credit report? If you belong to a monitoring service that offers a tri-merge (three bureau) report, that is fine. If not, we will provide a link to our favorite low-cost option, where you can access your report in minutes. Please note that we do not accept the free individual credit bureau reports available from AnnualCreditReport.com. When I get my credit report, does it hurt my scores? When you request your own report it has no impact on your credit scores. There are two types of inquiries, "hard" and "soft". A hard inquiry will affect your score - and occurs when you apply for new credit. A soft inquiry will not affect your score - and occurs in three instances: 1) when you request your own credit report, 2) when potential lenders check your credit prior to offering you pre-approved credit, and 3) when a current lender conducts a periodic review of an existing account. Can you get my credit report for me?Credit repair businesses cannot order credit reports for their customers. The Fair Credit Reporting Act (Section 604) prohibits the credit bureaus from furnishing credit reports to third parties for any reasons outside of the FCRA definition of "permissible purposes" which include determination of credit worthiness, underwriting of insurance, and employment screening. Any other credit repair companies pulling your credit report by only using your name, address and social might be doing so illegally and could be causing you an unnecessary inquiry by pulling a mortgage credit report. Why do you ask for identification? The credit bureaus often request personal identification prior to processing a dispute. By providing it up front we minimize delays - and significantly improve the efficiency of the process. Our only goal is to get the job done quickly, and to deliver the best value.
